The United States To Send Survey Questionnaires To 14 Manufacturers And Exporters Of Powered Pressure Washers From Vietnam

According to the United States, this has become an unusual case and will send further questionnaires to 14 manufacturers and exporters of power pressure washers in Vietnam and conduct an impartial investigation. On the other hand, on December 29, 2022, FNA Group has also filed this lawsuit against Vietnamese and Chinese gasoline-powered pressure washer manufacturers. Pressure washers made by them are being sold illegally sometimes at low prices and sometimes at high prices which is an unforgivable crime.

They have also filed a case with the International Trade Commission (TIC) at the US Department of Commerce, further stating that selling the product in this manner damages the company and also destroys foreign credibility. If left unchecked, the United States’ pressure washer manufacturing industry may close in the near future. Exported Chinese and Vietnamese products will be liable to pay heavy anti-dumping duties upon complaints from domestic manufacturers. Specifically, Chinese manufacturers and exporters will have a dumping margin of 136.7% to 242.34%, while Vietnamese manufacturers and exporters will have a margin of 103.28% to 209.22%.

Investigate manufacturers and exporters of powered pressure washers in Vietnam

Pursuant to legal action, the US Chamber of Commerce will send additional price and export questionnaires to certified Vietnamese 14 industries in accordance with the law..doc has issued a formal decision on official investigations of washer pressure dumping on January 25, 2023.
